And a step further when tokens were created on top of those existing blockchains Bitcoin lost even more of its market dominance because again money was flowed into those other projects. However, Bitcoin remains a dominant player in the crypto space and you could go as far as to say that it is an indicator to what will happen to the entire crypto market as a whole.
